In areas where distressed properties dot almost every block of neighborhoods, residents and local officials often rely on foreclosure investment to get rid of excess foreclosed property inventories and prevent neighborhoods from falling into ruin. However, not a lot of people are buying properties right now, even low-priced foreclosed homes. Some cities in Indiana have long realized this and have already taken action to save neighborhoods from blight caused by foreclosures.
A huge percentage of foreclosed homes in Indianapolis and distressed properties all over the state have been left abandoned and empty, with owners deciding to walk away from these structures instead of spending money on sprucing them up for buyers that have become very few. These abandoned foreclosures cause neighborhood blight in most areas, but some cities have taken action and are now busy demolishing or rehabilitating these properties to improve neighborhood conditions.
In the city of Elwood, local housing agencies and officials have been demolishing empty Indiana foreclosures and replacing them with new houses, using money from the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).

Google Adword is an excellent way to expand ones business as it allows for targeted marketing of products and services. This is especially so when it comes to small business marketing. There are many benefits of Google Adwords.
- The adwords are used to target ads and offer them to people looking to find similar services or products. This helps in more targeted and cost effective advertising. Moreover, only those people interested in your product or service will view your ad. Consequently, small businesses won’t waste time displaying ads to those who are not interested.
- It is also possible to reach out to a vast number of people with adwords. This means that potential reach for products and services with Adwords is far greater than without it. Small businesses thus have a better chance to have a more effective marketing campaign.

Foreclosure rates in most of Minnesota’s local markets have remained high last year. According to housing market analysts, part of the reason could be the high number of homeowners who get stuck in the foreclosure process for as long as two years. They stated that this factor has, in part, made 2010 foreclosure numbers exceed 2009 levels and has prevented the housing market crisis from abating in the region.
Local market observers have reported that some owners of Minneapolis foreclosures and distressed properties in other areas of the state can get their properties sold in a few months, while others get stuck living in their foreclosed homes for as long as two years and unable to move on. A number of homeowners have reported experiencing multiple cancellations to their scheduled sheriff sales.
The problem, owners of MN foreclosures have revealed, is that this has prevented them from moving on and most of them live in financially difficult situations since the foreclosure has caused their credit ratings to plummet.

Most doctors’ offices don’t have menus.
Patients are told what tests they need and most of the time they agree to it without knowing how much they’ll pay for it.
But the reverse is true at the newly opened Any Lab Test Now. Customers can order from a long list of tests from menus without a doctor’s guidance or permission. Those menus, like dinner menus, tell the customer exactly what the tests cost.
“It seems to be a remarkably easy question,” said Any Lab Test Now owner, Andrew Rock. “But it’s a question that hasn’t been able to be answered: How much do these tests cost?”
Rock bought the franchise license rights for the medical test center in Shelby County and surrounding counties last year. He opened the first center Monday in the Park Cosmorama shopping center at 5075 Park close to Memphis Pizza Cafe.
